Minneapolis, Minnesota Older folks are generally the best role models for living because of their years of experience.

They can also walk during Fashion Week MN (FWMN) and be models, breaking convention in the fashion industry. FWMN is looking for models 60 years of age and older to be in one of their spring shows, “I AM Fabulous.”
A spokesman stated that the oldest model cast was ninety years old.

“Age is just a number, in my opinion,” stated model Thomas Hill. “I don’t feel 67, and I know I don’t look 67.”

Hill began dressing other models even before he became a model. Prior to entering the interior design field, he worked for almost ten years as a fashion designer.

Others have also embraced modeling as a new adventure.

“I think part of living your best life is that you have to continue to live,” Tene Wells stated.

Wells, 71, ran the Shoestring Playhouse, which was renowned for casting players without taking their race into account, throughout his early adulthood. She then became the head of the charity organization WomenVenture, which assists women in achieving financial success. At one time, Oprah Winfrey noticed her work on her talk show.

“Most people think you do the bucket list, then you die,” Wells stated. “I think you do the bucket list, and then you make another bucket list.”

“Are you embracing of older age?” Michelle Baik, a reporter for KARE 11 Sunrise, inquired.

She stated, “I believe it’s about acceptance.” “However, I believe it’s acceptance combined with a clear idea of what you desire. I just want to walk normally after having two spine surgeries, two knee replacements, and a hip replacement.”

Both for themselves and for other people, these models are redefining beauty.

Hill stated, “It’s demonstrating that we are still here.” “We are out here, and we are fabulous.”
